Empire at war.
I was thinking about getting this game, thought it would be nice pastime for boredom.
Does anybody play it? If they do, is it worth buying?

Re: Empire at war.
Its good if you like RTS (real time strategy), e.g. Age of Empires (the first game still owns)
Re: Empire at war.
Empire at war owns. I have the gold pack, EAW+Forces of corruption. But there is no way your comp can handle it hulinus.

Yea, I thought of getting the pack with the both games, too.
When I checked the box it seemed that it would work, barely though, but still.
Bleh, if it doesn't work on my comp maybe I'll get KOTOR. I think my computer should run that game, or is it heavy?

Re: Empire at war.
Great game, Collecting, Food, Wood, Stone and stuff, to advance through the ages, (Stone age Etc)
Building homes, churches, barraks, you know, all the stuff to further your empire.
Must try to advance fast in the ages for stronger knights, archers and horse-riders, to destroy the other persons empire.

The game play is really good, petroglyph (previously known as Westwood studios the creators of Command and Conquer series) knows very well how to make RTS games, I have every C&C game and EAW is almost just as good.

Well, if your lucky you don't need to buy a whole new computer. You can upgrade it. Buy a new graphics card, a ram stick and a new cpu.
Considering how old your comp is, the parts you need are very cheap for it. You could get a somewhat useful comp for 200 euro

Re: Empire at war.
That really sounds tempting. If I got a summer job and some salary from it I'd only have to think wether to invest a new(ish) comp or drums.
Although I think I won't get a job, I should've been informed by now. Damn.
