Well I failed at making a beach so I just did some sea

This looks unifinished.. She needs lighting and shading. Otherwise it just looks like a flat anime character.

colin, I tried to draw a beach over a dozen times, it's just too hard to draw where the water touches the sand with the foam and the colour-difrences

spray, I srsly have no idea how to light and shade the thing.
Is it possible with GIMP? I could look into it

hmm u use a pentool to draw?
dont u use a pencil (normal one)?
well anyway.. maybe its a little hard. but i believe it would look better instead of just blue
