I hate music that has no proper melody, where the singer growls and insane drums covers the other sounds.
That's not music at all.

Music needs to have a good melody, and preferably clean vocals. Of course some people who roar please me, but it has to be done skilfully.

That's what I think.

Meh I like some Misery Signals songs and KSE but thats like the only bands i like that are probly judged as being slight heavy.

Those are good, Matt. Very listenable. A long time since I've listened to this kind of music, lately it's been rather metal -emphasized.
I should go back to some 'lighter' music for a change, maybe I'll scope that John Mayer -dude out more carefully.

I don't know what it is in a certain type of music what makes it so brilliant. I mean, sometimes you just hear something and it goes right up to the 1st place.

Edit: One factor as to why I listen to metal so much must be that I love soooo much the double bass drumming. And among metal bands that's quite general. (not all ofc) =P
