Discussion: Going Off-Topic

Why does it matter that much? Seriously, what's the problem with going off-topic if it happens naturally?

i understand if it goes off topic but still has a connection with it
Unfortunately most posts dont, so we have to lock them or try to get it back
If this continue or the "fights" that spam the posts odnt get limited we will start to delete posts. Hopefully that way every1 will get the message

Because the tittle of a topic says what it is about, constantly changing subject makes it difficult to find a topic. Make a new one for every new discussion.

It's OK if the discussion evolves to something SENSIBLE, which it sometimes does. But way too often it grows into an argument, flaming or useless posts which don't have the least to do with the topic's subject.
