Headphone set has weird sounds

My headphone set is kinda fucked up, it seems. Sound is REALLY weird. Drums have a 'flat' tune to them, and voices are very quiet (no matter what volume) and have that 'echo in hall' effect.

The saxophone in Billy Jean sounds perfect, the synthesizer subpar, you can't hear Michael Jackson at all (very faintly), except when he speaks up (Don't break no hearts!), and I thought there was a bass guitar in that song, but the player is apparently jacking off in the toilet. I hope that gives you a slight idea of the sound I get.

I fiddle around with the cables at the bottlenecks, and I think I figured out that the problem is inside or near the volume control box. If I pressure one of the bottlenecks in a certain way, sound is crystal clear.

Fixable, or should I search for that warranty thaang?

EDIT: microphone seems to work perfectly.

or the program you open it with has some fault settings.
It is possible.. I always use Windows Media Player and you can change things with the Graphic Equalizer ^^

Alright, I found out how to place the audio volume control unit on my desk in such a way that the quality of the headphones is perfect.
