WoW isn't dangerous. You have to be able to handle it. Self-control is a virtue.

If you need self control to handle a video game you could consider the game dangerous.

Self-control is present in everything you do. WoW just needs a little more because it uses the MMORPG elements which are specifically built to lure in users and give them a feeling of having used their time worthy when they found tier 2 armor and got 1000+ PvP rating and perfected those elements.

Blizzard has made a commercial golden egg. WoW is both seen as one of the best critically acclaimed MMORPGs, has a very large community, has it's own anti-community (which is more of a blessing than a curse), programmed the game in such a way that private servers are bugged like hell and drive private players to buying the game if they really want to enjoy WoW, and has made monthly subscription for a game acceptable.

Gladly the game hasn't addicted me this far. I may spend hours in the game when I have nothing else to do, but if there's real life activity I take that.

Btw I made a new character, a mage. I like it way more than my hunter.
I think I'll start playing with that mage dude more.

That may be true.. but I've tried playing it... and I dont see how any of ya'll can do it. Same thing, over and over and over again,.. just to level up your character... -_-' I think I'd have more fun getting a spankin.
