i had the same problem in a theatre show once...
i had to bend over towards the audience.. and CRACKKKKK it ripped.. so 1100 people saw it but i had a comic role so i could play with it THANK GOD.. other wise i was screwed

hmm lol well now that u said about the theater i was in a scene (i was about 11 yo ) with a girl (she ςas around 15 i think) and there we were supposed to dance vals but while she was changing her dress on the backstage (the playing was rolling meantime) her zipper couldnt zip! so we were like saying random stuff to keep the crowd on hold like "y she is it taking so long" etc and when she appeared she told me to grap the two parts behind her back cuz the zippers didnt work xDD
it was quite funny cuz most of the crowd was laughing when her back was looking to the crowd xD ah well the embarassment wasnt that much form my side :p

And back to the subject:
i had go to a sports day (track) and i was participating at high jump. So after the first couple of jumps my coatch tells me to better do the next jum p w/o my athletic pants (the one with the buttons on the sides) to be able to move better.. so after i was w8ing my turn warming up i hear my name and i get ready, untap my buttons and get down my pants.. unfortunately i had forgotten to put my shorts in for some strange reason in the morning xDD and im like "hmm oups i guess i forgot to wear them " *surpised face* so i pull up my pants covering my sleepers and closed the buttons back to do the jump since most there were looking/waiting at me (and kinda laughing gently) xD
