You're terribly wrong. HIV is NOT the early stages of AIDS. It's the virus (the organism) which causes the immune deficiency known as AIDS. HIV to AIDS is as rhinovirus to the common cold.
If you have HIV, you do not automatically get AIDS. HIV can stay in a latent stage for years (the incubation period), wherein one does not suffer any symptoms.
