Damn yeah!

Got Max Payne working on Windows 7, thought I'd never be able to play this brilliant game again. Now I can, though.
Thought to post this in Nonsense since I really don't have much else to say, but to make this a thread worthy of posting in here let's try to make this a convo..

Anyone played Max Payne? Thoughts? It rocks

Recently re-bought it on steam, great game indeed. Had some difficulties with the sound, but its fixed.

Yea I had issues with the sound as well, gladly I found a solution on the Internet.

My monitor's basic resolution is 1680x1050. When I play Payne this resolution stretches Payne and he looks fat.
I was wondering that is there a "brother" resolution to 1680x1050? I mean a resolution that would work fine with my monitor but isn't a wide screen resolution or something? So that the dude in the game wouldn't be fat anymore.

Just asking.

Play windowed.

Some old games just doesn't support widescreen, you'd need to get a hold of a widescreen hack for it. I did it once with HEX edeting, but it takes for ever. So I'm not doing it again.

Final Fantasy: Advent Children was pretty cool as well.

lolz i loved it...slow mo + diving was epic

i remember watching my dad when i was little, (i think u have just been druged then) the level starts if i remember correctly u start in a room and when u come out the whole room was black and there was red lines (blood possably) running across the ground (mid air) and u see the exit (possably the same type of room u started in), i think it was like/a maze and there is a baby crying in the background ... that level scared the shit out of me -_- (if there was no crying or something i think it wouldn't have scared me that much XD) .... the part that was annoying is when u fell of the red lines u had to back to the begining of the level or when u came to a dead end and had to go back took for ever (my cousin was the one who did it for my dad <.<) then when u did the level u wake up tied up to a chair (.... cant remember what max payne it was)

not played it in ages and i agree the movie was crap as hell -_-
