Living in the UK is no help for this.. I'm a Turkish citizen, I will have to do this sooner or later.

It could be not that horribly bad if I do the service somewhere in Northern Cyprus, Mediterranean or Aegean coast but if I have do it near the Iraq border, I'm in bigtime shit.
