Personally, I don't like them because every girl wears/wants to wear them.. Just get boots/shoes YOU like.. not because they're some kind of status symbol..

they can just wear what they like (if they want to spent an insane amount of moneyz cuz of fashion - i guess they r expensive after all) but to me the way a pair of boots suits to a girl counts the most even if its a noname out of "fashion" shit.

ye well they r in fashion here too for teh last 1-2 years if im not mistaken and although they r not elegant many wear them because they r in fashion (quite a lame reason for me - if u were gifting a pair of these 3 years ago the girl would say what a piece of shit this is and tht there is nothing nice about it)..
Anyway i think they r nice cuz they dont stress the feet and keep them kinda warm (both guesses fomr the looks of them). I usually find them just fine for casual use and they dont disturb the eye so let them wear them ^^
