Ventrilo

Everyone who has ventrilo join with channel!

Join with derob ventrilo channel!
Ventrilo is a communicating program, which allows to use your own voice instead typing. (Microphone)
It's basically same as TeamSpeak, but the the main difference is that you'll receive every message you say.
For instance in Teamspeak you say: "Hey I'm from canada and I like to eat beans", in teamspeak you would've heard: Hey I'm eat beans. But this is never gonna happen in ventrilo.

Basically the ventrilo is so damn easy to use, it's just amazing.
The file size is only 433kb, man...

If you'd like to talk with ppl etc, follow these steps.

Advanced users:
Server - ventrilo.tantum.ee
channel - #derob
pass - 9123

1) Download Ventrilo.
Link: http://www.derob.org/Ventrilo.rar

2) Unpack it
Just right click on the rar and find the perfect place for your needs.


3) Open it
Always when you're going to open it, it'll ask for updates. Ignore it!
The server settings I'm going to spread requires older version of ventrilo.


4) Settings
At top you might notice.
a) Username: [] [->]
b) Server: [] [->]
c) Bindings: [] [->]

Press on the Username arrow button on right.
Click New -> Enter Name -> OK -> OK

Press on the Server arrow button on right.
Click new -> Enter whatever you want, just something you'll remember what it is.. for instance lawl -> OK -> Hostname or IP: ventrilo.tantum.ee -> Port: 3784 -> OK

Now press CONNECT!!!
IF you're successfully in, scroll up... and select #derob -> Password: 9123

Now basically done, next what you wanna do is go to Setup.
Make sure Output device and Input device is selected. Just browse for something untill it'll work.
How can I make sure that everyone hears me?
Theres a test section:

"Test with"
Codec: GSM 6.10
Format: 44100 Hz, 16bit

And press test.

If you might sound a little too quiet etc then move Outbound and Inbound arrows on your right and make sure you put Volume max.
Don't insert much outbound points, because rest people might hear you too loud etc.

Thats about it, give your opinion and let see if someones gonna visit.
It's just a place where you can communicate with everyone and not only JKA people etc.
Also you can bring your friends there etc. Have fun!

Btw if that microsoft sam is annoying you, go to Setup and at top select "events"
All sections where it's like:
You connect to server
You Disconnect from server

Yea, many of us like to use Ventrilo, too. That channel would be very usefull.
I'll just sticky this in case someone needs instructions.

Seem's like i cant connect to it:S, IS server down or something? Ive been using it befor and ive always able to connect to servers but this one dont work :S
