DS - Online on JK3? (no it's just an idea)

Hai all

I'm searching for a solution when we are forced to move to JK3.

We are all used to JK2 and most don't even like the new moves in JK3.

I think this can be helped with server modding. I don't know much about server modding though.

I was thinking if we could somehow modify DS - Online to make it work in JK3 we could just go on with our old way of server admining as we did in JK2. We could try to search for bespin but then a JK3 version, and so on...

So ehm all who knows about server modding, feedback is always nice.

I'm sure many modifications need to be made to finish this,as many commands are not the same,I mean the server setting commands,and the maps format etc...categories...

A good idea indeed,but it will be a hard task to convert the files and make them all run correctly without errors,let's hope jk2 still will live for a while.

If we ever move to JK3 I don't mind learning all the new stuff.

Ja+plus has if i recall right a jk2 mode, it works just as it should. But don't expect anyone to play there as most of the guys who play jk3 wants the choice of other sabers and moves.

SA moved to jk3 with this and we lasted 2 months before we gave up, the server was empty all the time.

perhaps we could add the double sabers and shit, but not the shitty overpowered 'special' moves.

That gonna need times...

Its called defense, learn how to use it.

Jk3 = easy.

I dont play force though.

Staff = Sweeping etc
Single = Sweeping or just fancy red jumping shit.

Hardly anyone uses these so called special moves anyway.
