Well, actually it was slow-chat, no spam.
And isn't this the CHAT-room?
And isn't this the use of a forum, to interact with people from all over the world?

The only thing I want to say before they start all over again, is that a prototypical nerd would be:

- a software programmer
- a D&D-player (tabletop, not computergames)
- a gamer
- an extraordinary interest in anime

I'm up for the first three, so that would make me a stereotypical nerd. But I don't care, since I like to do things I like to do. If someone else has a problem with that, they can nag all they want, offend me all the want, etcetera, etcetera. In the end I know they are the ignorant people with friends who would ditch them if they fail in life (like most of those people would).

I think a nerd is very subjective. Because a gamer.. Almost everyone plays games. xD

Stereotypes are quite objective, in the fact that everybody can tell if it's a stereotype, even if the person itself does not have the same stereotypical view.

If I say "an Irishman with a pint of Guinness" every cultural person would see it as a stereotype, even if they associate Irishmen with something else.

Example: Blond girls are stupid.
Is this a fact? that blond girls are stupid?? lol

I know what our misunderstanding is about.

If I say "an objective stereotype", I mean "a stereotype which is undoubtedly a stereotype". As opposed to a subjective stereotype, a stereotype that might not be a stereotype.

You mean, "a stereotype which has a sense of truth".
