Yeah but, the appointment of Palin has probably reduced McCain's chances of winning, now that the Palin-hype is over. Once people realised that she's an idiot, almost all the opinion polls have swung back in Obama's favour, if just.

If McCain would win, and then die (he is pretty old), Palin would be president. That is NOT GOOD.
