my computer is broken

it freezes on stupid things like when I open My Documents or Computer. And I can't download anything, with any browser cause it freezes. it's realy weird. I tried checking for viruses but i didn't find any. Could it still be a virus or is it my windows doing bitchy or what? I don't realy feel like reformating it :S

probably malicious software that u cant trace.. or maybe a dmg somewhere (maybe in serious files)
i wold make a backup and format->new windows installation
if thats dont help start searching for hardware prob... hope it will though..

Do a System restore to like a month ago also install an antivirus program...
