It seems like the kids from england make more spelling mistakes then foreigners.
I don't judge by spelling mistakes but are you really from England? It is hard to believe. You also said you were 14 years old.. Even I could better spell at that age.

Tony, it's common for native English speakers to make more grammatical errors than someone who has learned the language afterwards.
Think about it, they use the language all the time. I don't think they can be arsed to check their grammar in each written piece they make.

I mean come on, do you use 100% correct grammar in your own native language? I'm sure you don't because it's so everyday for you.
Plus, there are different accents and dialects which reflect to written work as well.

Thus there is no competent reasons for questioning his origin or age.


And for the applicant: Good luck. You seem like a decent fellow, and I have no problem about that Bounty Hunter -thingy you have.
If it can bring people on the server it can't be all bad. =P

I make alot of mistakes in dutch as well, but that is just the teachers problem. Last year I had one of the highest rates in my class lol.
I just expted that an english kid could spell better then me. Obviously my expectations were wrong.

I try to check my grammar and spelling, both in English as in Dutch, as well as in French.

Who decides what spelling is right and what spelling is wrong anyway.. and why is it up to them. think about it

A governmental institution who controls the standardisation of spelling. It usually consists out of people who have studied languages/etymology extensively and thus have proper grounds to decide how a word should be spelled in standard english.
