i know you want to buy there cd's because they say "support us by buying our cd's, if you support us we can make more great music"
its fucking bullshit, theyre managers and music company pay for theyre resources and what not, i know they get a percentage of the profit
all they need is 200,000 of resources worth of instruments etc not 200 mil
fuck them, i download all my music illegally they should just be happy with the fact that i appreciate thiere music

For me the supporting is only a part of why I buy CDs. If I like a band I like to physically own the CD, it feels good to put in the player and then listen to it.
Way different feeling than to press "play" on winamp and such.

Of course when the band is really good I'm also willing to give them the support of paying for the album, wether they really need the cash or not

i mean as an individual, ofcourse it makes a difference i everybody buys the cd's
if you really want to support your band dont just buy the cd make everybody buy them aswell

Anyway, I usually first download the music illegally and then if I like it enough I buy the CDs.
