GTA: San Andreas Roleplaying

Haha, this shit is so much fun. I downloaded SA Multiplayer and found some servers who had roleplaying as mode.

I went in there and the first thing I saw was some random cop (problaby an admin) pulling one over, asking for driver's license;

-Driver's license, please.
-Fo' wha'?
-Shit ...
Fuck you, nigger! You got lucky today. I remember you.

And he left So random LMAO

Anyway, here's a summary of the whole thing

What is RolePlay?
Roleplay is a way of gaming. The word already says what it means. You have to play a role. For
example, you play a drug dealer. You will act like a dealer in-game. You talk like a drug dealer, you act
like a drug dealer etc. Whiles you are playing a drug dealer, other people might be a police officer or
boxer. This way we create a ‘world’.

What is metagaming?
Metagaming is mixing IC and OOC information.
First, what is IC and OOC.
IC stands for In Character. So that’s the drug dealer we were talking about earlier.
OOC stands for Out Of Character. That’s you, the man behind the computer basically.
So mixing IC and OOC info is called metagaming. An example:

You see a guy, with some text above his head.
Jason_Mendez (31)
So, now you know you see a guy called Jason, and he has ID 31. This info is OOC, since people don’t
have their names above their head in real life.
So if you talk to the man, you will say: ‘Hey man, what’s your name?’
Saying stuff like: ‘Hey Jason!’ is metagaming. You don’t know his name. (Suggesting you never met
him before).

What is Revenge Killing [RK]?
During the time playing on our server, you might get killed by a guy. There are a few rules around
‘dying’ in-game. First of all, you don’t die. You get critically injured, and you will be transported to
hospital. Second, you lose all your memories.
So, back to Revenge Killing. Revenge Killing is not allowed on our server. If you get killed (Critically
injured) by some guy, you lose your memory. When you wake up in the hospital, you don’t
remember how you died, or who killed you. So you can’t run back to where you got killed, and kill the
man. That’s Revenge Killing.

What is Death Match[DM]?
Death Match, is killing people without any Roleplay (reason). So basically, it’s just walking up to
someone, take your gun and kill him. If you want to kill somebody, you have to RolePlay this. So,
for example. You walk to the guy and say: 'Hey you idiot, why did you ram my car?'
The guy will answer, and you get into an argument. The man hits you with a baseball bat,
and you decide to take your weapon and kill the man. Now you had a reason for killing him.
So don't walk around and kill people randomly, or expect to be prisoned/banned.


What is Quick Swapping[QS]?
Quick Swapping, is swapping between your weapons, to shoot somebody faster. If you shoot your
deagle, the character needs some time to reload the weapon. During that time, you are not able to
shoot. However, if you swap to another weapon, and back, you are able to shoot again. QUICK
SWAPPING IS NOT ALLOWED! If you get caught Quick Swapping, you might get prisoned.

What is Crack Shooting[CS]?
Crack shooting is almost the same as Quick swapping.
The difference is, that you stop the animation, in stead of swapping to another gun.
Stopping the reload animation can be done by crouching (pressing c).
Crack shooting is NOT allowed on our server.

What is Powergaming?
Powergaming is doing unrealistic actions. Like: /me takes his superman suit and flies to the moon.
This is not realistic, and considered as powergaming. Powergaming is NOT allowed.
Powergaming is also forcing somebody to do something. It’s hard to explain, but some examples will do.
Imagine, you are arguing with somebody. Then you decide that you are going to use a /me command.
Example: /me takes a plastic bag, pulls it over Who_Ever’s head and kills him.
This is powergaming. You are forcing the player to kill himself. If the player won’t kill himself, the RolePlay is messed up.
So, never force people to kill themselves.

It's funny but you get tired of it. But try it at least.

Roleplay, OOC, IC, MG... too strict rules. Anyway, I had an account on the best RP server in Poland. Ive got 2x robbed and kidnapped. ROFL.

Well RP is serious. There are stunts mods which are so funny. People just do wtf they want and no one cares lol.
