12.00 / 12.30 Arrival in London (here we get a tour around the Tower)
13.45 Going on a City Cruise Boat
14.00 - 14.30 Cruise on Thames from Tower Pier to Westminster Pier (with English guide)
14.45 A nice walk past the banks of the Thames to Buckingham Palace via Houses of Parliament, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square and Hyde Park
16.45 Subway from Hyde Park Corner Tube Station to Paddington Tube station
17.00 Checking into the hotel (Bluedaws Hotel, 133-135 Sussex Gardens !)
19.00 Evening meal in The Fountains Abbey
20.30 Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus
22.30 Back to hotel for "sleep"

Day 2 (11.05.10)
08.00 Breakfast
09.00 Taking Paddington Tube Station to Baker Street Tube Station to visit Mme Tussaud (around 10.00)
11.20 Going to China Town via tube Leicester Square

14.00 Taking to tube to Bank Tube Station then walk over the London Bridge to the London Dungeon
15.00 London Dungeon (SCARYYYYY)
16.30 Via Tower Bridge to Minories

20.00 On foot to Tower Hill Tube Station for a "Jack the Ripper walk"

09.00 Visit a museum (choices are Science museum, Natural History museum or British Museum. Which one should I choose?! It's also possible to visit both Science and Natural History museums )
11.30 Tube to Bond Street Tube station
Lunch and free time to go shopping in Oxford Street / Regent Street
14.45 Depart to Dover
17.35 Checking in on ferry (P&O Ferries)
18.20 Off to Calais! + hot meal on boat.
20.50 (Belgian time) Arrival at Calais + going to Lanaken (where I live)

Don't forget to take a power transmitter (or whatever). For some reason, English people have their own brand of plugs for electrical devices.
When crossing the road, look right, then left.
Harrots (or something like that) is a no go. They don't allow people who might form groups inside. There's a donut shop close by, which had really nice donuts.
Science museum. Science is the tool of human progress.
Don't buy 'traditional English sandwiches' (which look like regular sandwiches to me) from little shops. God awful.
You can't get close to the Royal Guard anymore, me thinks.
The public performers at Leicester Square (or wherever they perform) suck.

That's everything I remember from my London trip. It was pretty cool, had lots of fun with friends.

I'll try Harrods though. Can always give it a try, no? ;D
I don't have power transmitters unfortunately.. I'll shut down my cellphone the whole trip lol. Only really need it when I get back to call parents.

With the bus to Calais? That will be a hell of a drive. lol. But good idea. I'm planning to go to London this summer. Perhaps it's cheap to go with the bus to Calais, and then the ferry.
