Actually i was hoping for a description like "its close to my house" or "i went there and stayed at that place" etc
Just to see if its doable for the future ^^

Re: Going hiking
I've been there, and it is doable! I didn't have any kind of special training before I went to the top. Just normal daily activities I guess.

Re: Going hiking
I'm back!
The trip was a heck load of fun, awesome landscapes and fresh air. Finland has some pretty high fells, but theyre not quite as high as the Norwegian mountains I'm sure.
Still, Finland has it what Norway lacks, I'm talking about the Finnish Lapland feeling.
Nothing better than it.
I'll post some pictures when I get home. We walked for 55km uphill and downhill, reached the top of many fells. We had heavy backpacks and stayed in the nature for four nights and four days.
And I'm up to the DL hiking, as long as the time is right.
