Ad-aware. Empty Ad-aware.

Post by *Hule* Thu Jan 17, 2008 11:39 am

Ok so I have got this Internet security programme. I also have another one that I pay for (or my dad, what ever..) so Ad-Aware isn't the only security programme I have.

I haven't tried the scanning -part out, yet, I jave just updated it since I'm new with it. I've heard the scan is quite good with it, though.

Anyway Ad-Aware has this "Ad-Watch", a continuos guarding programme of some sort. It has quite many options and it is a versatile programme, I guess.
What I'm asking is that does anyone have this programme, too?

The one who posesses this programme in question must answer this question:
Does the 24/7 guard require much memory?
I have only 512 of memory (don't know the unit nor the name of the memory) and I don't wish to waste it too much.

So does it reguire like über much memery, or just like average? And what's the average? >.>
And should I start the "24/7 guard"?

I use it, AD-Aware is very good. just turn the watch off. As long as you scan at least twice a weak.

So you don't recommend the Ad-Watch..
I see.. So I'll just keep it off and scan frequently.

You can keep it as its a part of ad-aware, but if you scan regularly you wont need it on.

I've now scanned with both F-secure and Ad-Aware programs.
I thought that if I scan regurarly with both of 'em I shouldn't have troubles, eh?

Should I take the AntiVir -something that DarYnus was talking about? Suspect

I have a feeling that these that I have are enough for the moment, what do you think? >.>
