How did you end up joining DL?

Isntalled Game and I joined DC, I had a cool Master (Masters in the old DC) called Vandar...
Things went well, then Clan leader had a hissy fit and gave all the power to a 8 year old who abused us, so everyone elft, I came to DL, asked Water if I could join, 10 Mins later I was a DL =D

Played JK2 for ages had my own clan DOA then disbannded cause it wasnt getting any new members and with the current people i was with i wasnt learning any new skills so i disbannded quit JK2 for 1 year came back played on DL server alot meet lots of nice people joined >.>...

i was playing single player and when i was in the middle i decided to see how is the multiplayer. i was playing rarely for a week and yea i was completely newbie. It was my first game ever i was playing online (except lotr:bfme2 and l2 for a period but their philosophy is completely different) and after 2-3 weeks i wanted to join a clan even if i didnt know much things since i had played it only for a few hours XD
I firstly made my name followed by something like "colin - looking for clan" if i rember well XD i didnt know shit about how recruiting works. Anyway when i learnt that everything is based on forums (i had never use forums in my life) i tried to find the forums of each clan. I was playing basically to FY and when not many players or when i was geting ownt enough from force players XD i was going to CA or DL cuz they were fine, althoughh boring cuz u could use only a saber XD ofc i didnt know the ammount of teh moves u could perform with one anyways i started browsing forums and sites of FY, CA, DL and i found that DL is fine and they wouldnt require any skill to join and with the help of luck cuz i wasnt sure of which to decide yet i made an application at 3 of April to DL During the time of waiting i gained all of my basic skills but the time was passing by and although i had start connecting with some of teh members even a little and i was active in server and forum i was seeing ppl that had applied after me (even after a month 0o) joining while i was still waiting... yea that was kinda disapointing sometimes but i knew i had to be patient and i wouldnt chnage my mind since i had w8ed so much. Also i didnt want to start playing good to many members just to get in... Anyways after along period at 31 of May i said ok i have reach a patience limit and probably the scout team is not as organized as it looks or they want a reminding thing so i looked in a post who r the scouting team members and checked who was online atm and so i pmed Igor with the below:

I was already waiting for 1 months and over when i joined them if you remember I waited 3 months to join DL <.<

Beh, didn't really find the full story so here's a summary:

When I started playing JK2 online in all my noobidity, BodyCleaner convinced me to post a joining application for DL.
I posted, couldn't be arsed to wait and joined another clan.
The clan was noob, "Family trouble" with the clan leader all the time, so I left.
I had a break from JK2, and after six months or so I started playing again.
DL seemed like a suitable clan after all, and I posted another application.
It took very much time for me to get in, but I waited patientally.
Eventually I got in and have been the Fruity Rodian ever since. ^^

i had post in the same page too but i have a lot of mistakes, in dates mostly, but i cant use the edit there.. XD

I stole the CD from Xris, installed JK2, and Xris pointed me out to DL, it looked very cool to me, so I made a joining post.
After 3 weeks I got in! I remember Xris being jealous 'cause it took him like 4/5 weeks.

I did my best on admin training, after some time I got promoted to JK Admin.
With the new ranks, I was demoted to member again, so I sucked Loading's cock and became Admin.

Then after a while I left DL, because JK2 was getting boring.

And now, in Februari 2008, I rejoined again, and now I'm member.

lol certainly not cuz i have seen how scout team worked back then it was a team mistake

lol I hated to wait back then when I wanted to join, but it worth it waiting 2 months x'D

I waited for long, too, but I didn't mind the time.
It was fun to have the excitement of waiting, I got to know many members during that time.

I joined a well populated server called ".......................DL" the same day I started playing (around 2 years ago) and really came to liking many of the members and the public. This was back in the old days on the US server where I had 200-250 ping (good times Kalong mate) but now I have over 400

And Marlon, GhostKnights.... Hahaha, sooooo noobish. But my story: After Water left GK he asked me to join a clan he was going to make. I thought about it for a couple of hours and went to the DL-server, catch up with $$A and suddenly I'm in.

I'm sorry about the double-post, but this just has to come up. Here's something that Hule wrote to Ca forums, I don't know when.

After I went to the secondary school, I met one of the greatest fellows in JK2 history, carrying the in game name such as Body Cleaner.
We became very good mates, and one time we started talking about Star Wars. Appeared that both of us were keen Star Wars -admirers.
The next thing to get revealed was that both of us played Jk2.

BodyCleaner asked me if I had tried the Multi Player game out. I said that I hadn't since I had stuck with the Single Player all the time, as said.
(I had neither played any other multi player games, I was even n00bier with computers than I'm nowdays. So that must be a lot. XD)
So BodyCleaner came to my place and told me to try the Multi Playing out.

I did what was told, and started wielding with my saber all over the Bespin_Streets.
I'm glad Body was there to guide me, he told me that you're not allowed to hit people who are unhostile.
I understood it, but not totally. He also taught me to sort of 'bow' aka. crouch when hit someone by accident.
So Body was quite nice to have there to help me to understand the ways of the Force.

Juho-Perttu Blasted-Viljami Markkanen, that was like the most beautiful thing I've ever read in my entire life. And also the end part:

It was near that I almost left when Body got kicked. I felt it was wrong and was about to leave myself as a sort of "protest".
However, although Body didn't care about JK2 nor DL anymroe, I couldn't leave my family, and ended up back to DL.
Unfortunately I had lost someones' trust during those times since I hadn't revealed what Body had been doing. (I didn't want to reveal my best mate in real life)
