problem with something

the last few days i have a really serious thing in my comp
i have like 700 ping or 300 on the servers in jk2, my surfing is low and the whole system is acting strange
anyway i tried to see whats the reason and i found that the CPU was running the whole time at 100% !!!
i was able to handle it at the first times by restarting the PC or checking which process was using more than 95% of CPU.
Unfortunately the last 2-3 days the problem cant be solved since i see that the processes running and taking all the CPus power is firefox or jk2 or system idle process.
I guess it has something been installed in teh system and spreads to the whole system day by day 0o
I run atm a scan with AVG although i doubpt ill find teh source of teh problem since i doubpt its a virus. maybe something similar but not a virus.. >.>
anyway if any1 has any idea what might be this would be good. it might be nothing of teh above but i havent change anything from what iu remeber >.>
Ill probably move on a format in 2 days since its needed for a long time now and will solve the problem too.

Still im uriuos if anything has any idea what this might be.

Try that:
1. Ctrl+alt+del than in the window press 'proces' and look for one with the bigest % in CPU
If You had one like 50% or bigest, close it
2. You can reinstall Windows too (Linux rox ^_^ )

Well 100% for system idle ain't bad, since that tells how much % of power is available is at your disposal. Enter msconfig and remove some of the processes from the boot and restart.

indeed... but its going like that. i have 95%+ of firefox or jk2 or idle process...
so one application takes all teh available resources which isnt natural at all... and happens with the ones i use...
and slow conn... tahst really werd... i tried to run speedtest and yestrday while i had 700+ ping in jk2 srevers i had 999 ping in every server of speedtest
and today i had 300 ping >.> stilli can download with good speed... anyways ill just moveto a format... >.> amybe ill haveto buy and a new harddrive to back up most of my files... >>>

yea .. it would have crash many times now.. but i usually take care of it >.>
anyway.. probably its ineternet faults too...
because of teh little snow we had we all have a really bad ping....
