DOOM Playthrough

I finally succeeded in creating a video which had a low filesize (WMV instead of huge AVI), audio (I've had a lot of troubles including audio into my recording), and with a reasonable quality (it isn't good, but it isn't too bad). I used CamStudio to record from the screen, and Windows Movie Maker to create the WMV video. I know there is better software out there than WMM, but I am not willing to afford those.

So, here is the first of many videos of my DOOM Playthrough. Hope ya enjoy.

I never understood the story of Doom

Must I explain?

There are army centers on Mars and it's two moons. You are a marine soldier on the Mars base. Suddenly one of the teleporting experiments on one of the moons of Mars goes wrong: one moon dissappeared into nowhere, the other cannot be contacted anymore. You are part of the team who goes to the moon, and you need to stay behind to guard the vehicle, while everyone takes the weapons and goes inside. The team has less FPS knowledge than me, and die. You are forced to go inside the base, and save the world.

Later on is explained that forces of Hell invaded the moons, and that one moon is "teleported" to Hell. (first episode: moon base, second episode: moon base on other moon, basically inside Hell, third episode: Hell itself)

The expansion pack (fourth episode) is the trip back to earth. DOOM 2 focuses n earth for a large part, then goes to Hell. TNT: Evilution, first part of Final DOOM, concentrates on the invaded Jupiter base, and Hell again. Plutonia... Well... there is no ceherent mixup between the levels really, except for some hunt for technology stolen by Hellspawn.

damn.. that remind me of the good old times with our very first PC playing DOS games with my bro with keyboard only (even FPS xD)

I have DOOM, Ultimate DOOM, DOOM 2, master levels for DOOM 2, Final DOOM, Heretic and Hexen.

its fun on the 360 <.<. never played doom till i tried the arcade trial, the n bought it, co-op is bFUUUUUUN with mic of corse xD. chiansaw is da bomb, espically rapeing monsters on Doom with it.
