I get your point, Atomic. It would be cool to have shooting games with alternative ways of completing them. You know, 'don't shoot this dude and the storyline changes'.

But that couldn't happen with CODs, since they're based on real events, wars that have happened in history. Bringing major changes to the storyline would cause the fact that those games couldn't be considered real event -based anymore, since those major changes would not follow the real history.

What you mean is probably what Matthew wrote. The games take place in the real war, real battles and real places. Those can't be changed.
But the missions that don't affect the flow of history could be changed. Little details. Razz

i agree!!!
i have played all games except the Halo and goldeneye (i guess cuz their success was basically in consoles)
I would probbaly replace Quake with one of his offsprings (like quake 3 arena or something)

Golden eye cuz back then i was an owner of a Pentium 133MHz, 24MB ram, 2MB gfx card and 1 GB HDD and not of a N64
and Halo, well i hadnt a good PC when it released and the success of this game was basically in Xbox

Goldeneye the movie I have never seen (I really want to, and it was anticlimactic when they broadcasted Goldfinger hahaha).

The theme song rocks.

And the game seems to be legendary, but I have never played it before.
