better ones cost around 300E and ofc there r way more expensive with better color balance etc (basically for pros that their job needs these characteristics)

Re: New monitor!!
Bah I still think its fucking good
The styling of the screen itself is out of this world, but also very contemporary. Especially the blue LED power button xD

Re: New monitor!!
Sorry, I was talking about the wrong monitor.. its not 700
That one is about 300-400 bucks, and you're right, there are much better (but way more expensive ones). I think the people meant this was the best value for money 22"

Re: New monitor!!
Nice monitor, dude. Maybe I'll face that destiny sometime, too. Getting a new monitor I mean. xD
Until then I'll have to stick with my 9-year-old 17" CRT screen. >.>

Re: New monitor!!
The BW series suck for graphics work though, although if you're moving up from a CRT to that, you won't notice it as much (BW series LCDs use lower end panels in order to get fast response times for games and such).
But still, I'll bet you'll enjoy it, since it's a Samsung.

Re: New monitor!!
I got a HP w2007v, and if you moved from a 1024*768 screen to a 1600*1050 like I did, the difference is impressive.
