Nope. Sounds like your new video card is having some serious issues.

Try updating your video card drivers.....

With this tut <.<
1) Go to Start -> Uitvoeren...
2) Type dxdiag, press OK and Ja.
3) Go to the tab Beeldscherm...
4) Look at the Fabrikant and remember it <.<
5) INTEL: clicky (press Graphics -> Desktop Graphics Products and select your model type)
ATI: clicky (select your OS and then Radeon and then your model type)
NVidia: clicky (select GeForce, then your model type (eg: 7600GT is 7 series) and then your OS, and click download)

Exactly. Sounds like you're GPU is overheating and shutting down.

Lol... when the PC detects something gets too hot, it shuts itself down...

If it really has heat issues, maybe change the cooler?

It didn't shut down the whole comp, only the game. Are you referring that?

Change the cooler? Like replacing it? I do admit, the cooler sounds difrent then normal. It's making more noise then like few months ago..

The entire PC doesn't always shut down when it over heats. Sometimes, especially with newer GPUs, they only shut themselves down. When your screen goes black and all you get is the no signal error, that tells me it's your GPU. Open up the case and get a fan to blow at the video card, see if you still get the problems.

It says my GFX temp is 51 celcius during playing...(pc wizard says that)

I have a dual core 512 mb. I think im going to expand that to 1536 mb..
and maybe some cooling fans -.- There should be special ones right? Which specially made for it and stuff.. cause I don't want it to make a noise like an aircraft is taking off Suspect

51C doesn't seem too high in my opinion.

Tey get your self a pack of 2x1gb RAM

Its a minimum now a days. And doesn't cost you much more

If it's only around 51 degrees then it is definitely not heat. Hmm...

It might be worth downloading a 3DMark trial and running a benchmark to get your GPU under high stress to see what it does. The hardware itself might be faulty.

i still think it is heat and false temp readings on GPU.

I think so too tbh.. but I'll check Haldir's idea with the 3dmark.
And xav, I think i might do that, 2 x 1 gig.

Which is why I said to run the 3DMark thing. That'll put it under the most stress, and thus, the most heat. Who knows, maybe even your fans are starting and stopping.

other thing: How do you get higher FPS. Faster internet, or buying some RAM?
while we're busy anyway: I have a total of 180 gig of free space hard-drive. Of course now it's way less. To be exact: 157 gb is used, 23,5 gb is available..
now when I reïnstal my comp completly, it still says that 157 gb is used ( or just a bit less)
How can I get some serious gb back 0_o cause I deleted things with the hand, reinstalled lot's of things... nothing works >.>
I think I know what the problem is. There are many files that I don't use on the comp which I can't see or don't know of >.> but still I don't know what to do..Im defragging now, and I already did a drive-cleaning (I used standerd programs )

hmm possible u have many media files like video basically which needs a lot of space. If u have organize ur disks like programs, games, media etc u can see where u consume most of ur space. I odnt think that many GB can be hidden. Check windows installation just to see how big it is.

As for the fps have in mind that internet connection has nothing to do with them. Ram will help a lot Wink so u need at least 2GB (2x1) as Xav says.

lmao. You don't want to know how many things i recorded for the falcon stories... 1 gig.. and that's converted. It used to be AVI sized, but I made it Mpeg, cause the folder was damn slow with loading. xD
But good idea to organize all of it.. But can't imagine that I use that amount of space Neutral

Over Clock your CPU and GPU or buy new parts.

Crow wrote:Faster internet

Try to switch web browser.

Phone your ISP and order a better line.

It won't improve your FPS much though, depending very much on what you have. Maybe a 1-4

Crow wrote:RAM?

Lets you use more softwares or bigger softwares

It will improve your computers performance a lot considering you have 512.

Crow wrote:I reinstalled my comp completely, it still says that 157 gb is used

Crow..... you or someone else have chosen the option: "Leave the File system as it is" when you installed the windows again

You or that someone should have formatted, either quick or full.

You would have all the space cleaned.
