Vista x64
Does anyone here use it and what was or is your opinion about it?
I'm Considering going over to Vista x64 since the SP1 is out and Windows 7 will use the same interface. XP x64 has worked fine, but had some issues with drivers.
Any thoughts?

Re: Vista x64
yeah but I need opinions on the 64 bit one, I'm not doing 32 bit even if I got money for using it.
Just saying you have it won't help me much.

Re: Vista x64
My guess is no one uses it then.
Well, I'm restarting and taking a format. Later

Re: Vista x64
I got vista 64 sp1 and works all great:) much better than 32 bit in my opinion, although it has a driver issue(you cant install drivers NOT certified by microsoft...) but thats fixable, just google for it if you need it.

Re: Vista x64
There shouldn't be a problem to force install some drivers, do it once a while.
Any x64 works better then a x86 IMO.
It works fine, but I have had some minor issues the past days.

Re: Vista x64
Had a few errors about memory problems, some Adobe softwares crashed a lot, same goes for games, but sp1 fixed these.
Copying over local network is still a bit slow, though improved.
still having problems with my Audio Front panel,
Unless I set curtain inputs and outputs as standard they won't work, and each time I switch, they are said to be busy and the computer needs to be restarted. I never had any problems with this on XP. How on earth can a regular jack input be busy?!

Re: Vista x64
I did say SP1 fixed it,
Only thing that is problematic is a audio panel from creative. And who says you have to go for Vista? XP pro x64 takes Vista down imo.
