The Finnish school massacre.

Yea, some restrictions with normal civilians getting a gun for instance. And some reinforcement in the police force, so they have better resources to take actions with this kind of events. With more officers there would be more areas checked and more accurately, I think.

What crosses my mind is.. how can a guy like that just enter with a gun withouth anyone noticing... when you're about to slaughter as many people as you can, you won't stay that calm :S..

In addition, the police had been interrogating him about his shooting videos but found no reason to confiscate the weapon. This happened just a day before the murders.

How can a student legally get a gun?

The school was of a kind where you go when you're full aged, I presume. They weren't children who got killed, I think.. Since the killer was an adult and a student of the same school whose students he killed, the other students must've been adults too.

So you can get a gun permit as an adult.

he was 22 and on the note he left in his appartment he said he planned it in 2002..
so 6 years back, when he was 16... hmm I think a tragic case of bullies at school.. But sitll, I don't have any pity. because what he did was slaughter innocent people. If he got bullied at school, he should have asked help from the teachers.

And Hule, yeah I read it.. if someone posts something like that how can you say no reason.. you don't say "hey look at how good I can shoot dummies!"..

I don't know why the police didn't seaze the weapon. If I'm right there's going to be leagal proceedings about wether the police acted right. But I think the police can't be blamed for anything.

He was shooting on a range with his gun, maybe taping that isn't stated as a crime here or something. So this would mean that he hadn't commited any crime.

But that's where the law fails, since he didn't actualy do anything wrong before he killed those ppl.

The dude didn't need psychological help, he knew perfectly what he was doing and why he was doing it.

Its like that dude at the virginia tech shooting, he knew what he was doing, he was going to kill however many people he could and then kill himself.
