Frenchies! Need your help!
Could you read my rédaction I wrote and check for errors or things you don't understand. Maybe I missed an expression and wrote something down literally and wrong, and you could give me how it's said in French.
Rédaction : une aventure inoubliable
Dring Dring! Dring Dring! Quelle toile ! Heureusement, ma mère me l’ a porté. Oef !

Quelle toile ! Heureusement, ma mère me l’a apporté. Ah ! Here it is.
Much "J'ai" faults, you didn't use the good time for it.
You speak about an action which passed then you use the "imparfait" or "passé simple" or "passé composé" lol.
Imparfait:
Radical + ais/ais/ait/ions/iez/aient.

Re: Frenchies! Need your help!
Thank you Bunu, with your unfathomable knowledge of French!
I totally forgot about the fact that être could be used in passé composé.
I mixed up prendre conscience and se rendre compte, hence the se prendre conscience.
'j'ai oublié': yeah, I used a historical present time, which gets used a lot in Dutch. Forgot that it was French.
goes by without problems -> passer tranquillement: check
je voulus prendre? I sense a passé simple distortion in the force... Is voulais (grmbl, wrong person) correct French? Since we are told not to use the Passé Simple.
Hmm, seem to mix ais and ait all the time. Stupid 1st person story. I am used to 3rd person imparfaits.
I ment 'a friend from class', not 'friends from class'.
Eut: Passé Simple again.
Je fouilla: what's that? Passé Simple? Well, I ment it as an action, not as an enduring state of motion, so I guess I use the passé composé.
When do you use ça and when cela?
I always mix y and en up. I always end up taking the wrong one.
So, a lot of mistakes.
Oh well, good to have French friends! I am gonna master your language one day, maybe not now, maybe not in a year, but one day, I will...

Re: Frenchies! Need your help!
E-Nig, that is besides the point. I "BLANK" Tony, could be both negative or positive, but I said it thought it was negative. You start off with a silly argumentation that it CAN'T be negative because there is a first person singular.
On the factual meaning however, Bunu said 'I admit Tony', neither negative or positive.

Re: Frenchies! Need your help!
J'aime can also mean love. Aimer is linguistically more close to love (amour, coming from the latin amor) than adorer, which has it's roots in adoration.
Re: Frenchies! Need your help!
Frenchies are also saying Je t'aime between friends, btw.
