Frenchies! Need your help!

Bunuel if you could and want it.. could you correct my mistakes?
This is for a french task, I had to translate a dutch text into french.
Probably alot of mistakes but hehe that is why I got you Bunuel!

Censé monsieur maire
Sous peu commence les vacances,
Dans le ville l'enfants ont trop peu d'espace pour jouer.
Nous avonds fait un enquête dans notre reu et prendraient volontiers l'initiative suivante.
Nous vous demandons pour fermer notre reu pendant deux semaines de dix jusqu'à vingt heures.
Le trafic local et garer serait permiss, mais les enfants qui jouent, roulent à vélo, fait du skateboard ou du rollent auraient la priorité.
Il y seraient toujours trois adultes pour tient la surveillance sur les efants.
C'est possible nous donnont l'admission?
Vous pouvez laisser apporter les panneaux indicateurs et des barrières?

3rd person plural for "faire"?
I don't think "font" because it goes back to "l'enfants"

l'enfants is supposed to be les enfants, like I said, making it plural.

Well, you dutchies have much problems with the "un" "une" etc...
And I changed some things which will allow you to have a good mark. ^_^
Changed "rue" which is bad in this way to "quartier" much better, in my mind.

Wow.. I so suck much at French really!

why rue in quartier?
They are 2 different things..
a rue is a street and a quartier like a block.. a group of streets? dunno how to say it xD

In this case, a "rue" in France and in french isn't the best word to use in the context of your text.

Male Dutch words: de + word -> de man (the man)
Female Dutch words: de + word -> de vrouw (the woman)
Neuter Dutch words: het + word -> het paard (the horse)

waarom is een boom mannelijk of vrouwelijk? XD

'boom' is male.

Genders come from the need to classify words in classes. Why a certain word is male, female, neuter, we don't really know. Sometimes biology comes into play (de man is mannelijk, de koe is vrouwelijk), sometimes the difference individua-collectiva (resp. male and female), language inheritance (from Latin for example), ...

If you wanna know more, talk to a language professor.
