Star Wars and me

I just acquired all 6 Star Wars movies.

It may be weird to say this on a forum of a Star Wars-based game, but I have only seen little pieces of IV and V, let alone a whole movie. So after all this time, I'm finally going to see a Star Wars movie, and see what all the fuss is about. A review will come.

Now, should I watch it from I to VI (the chronological order) or IV to III (the production order)? I'm a real novice to the Star Wars universe, so I hope the more-conscious Star Wars fan among you could help with what would give me the best experience.

hmm if u have no idea whats goin on on starwars (not knowing the plot i mean) then there r 2 ways:
1. if u watch 1-6 then ull probbaly like 1-3 and ull find kinda less surpising and "lame" the 4-6
2. If u watch 4-6 and then 1-3 ull like 4-6 (probbaly) and u ight like (or not) the 1-3. But if u know a few basic things then watching 4-6 wont have much surprises

Anyway its a tough call.. xD
Every1 that has watched 1-6 say that 1-3 r the best while the ones taht watched it with the publishing order say that 4-6 r better than the new ones

I'd say watch I - VI
I mean, I-III sets up the rest of Star Wars quite nice, even if the quality of the originals is lacking.

watch from I - IV then you will know how it all starts with the clones n crap

Check IV-VI before I-III. I think it's much funnier to follow the movies when they're not chronological. You know, like spotting things to fill in the gaps.
Besides, that's the original order.

Its better to by the original cause it has no animation but now some of them are animated.

The old movies do have animation xD

But they didn't have CGI

if you watch I till III you will probably think IV till VI is crap, but don't forget that IV till VI is much older then I till III.
IV was made in 1977, I in 1999.
My opinion is still that IV till VI are the best. xD

i found that out when we had a poll some time ago (i think Jascha had made it), about which episode is better.. im quite sure i have said that be4 at that topic

Yes but if you compare it in time, back then they didn't all had that good effects..
And for 1977 making a movie like Star Wars IV ( SW I back then lol ) it was a great movie! withs lots of special effects!

I say every Star Wars movie had great effects for their time.

IV, V, VI - The greatest movies to grace this world. I, II and III are pretty neat too, but do remember the HUGE time differences between the film! I would suggest watching it in the same order that Lucas' made them - 4, 5, 6 then 1, 2, 3

i mean episodes 1-3

I think the credit of making the movie belongs to the scriptwriter in the first place. Then to the director and producer.

Don't know how it goes officially, though.

The guy/woman who comes up with the idea should get the credit

its not like that.. its more complicated.. fo example the scenario might be good but the way the director will film it is really important... really its not that simple ti just say that first is the script writer, then the producer, then the director etc (just an example)
