Star Wars IV

Just watched it.

Han Solo ex machina, anyone? Nevertheless, shit was so cash. Looking forward to V.

These old movies are incredible pieces of work for their time. Episode V is my personal fav. And its ranked as top 10 movies ever made.
Just the impact they've had to make it over 30 years in the future. Its with out a doubt one of the deepest fantasy worlds created in my opinion. Its almost endless to this date.

Little fact,

Lucas blew his whole movie budget on just the "battle of hoth" and had to take new loans to finance the rest. 20th Century was pissed xD

Like Vegard said...even my mum likes the first 3 movies...they r epic...imo the old ones are better cuz of the story line...the new ones are all effects.

Also, were the sequels (V and VI) planned from the start, or was IV initially standalone?

I think Lucas had it in mind considering how ep IV ends with Vader flying off.

But to begin with, it was just STAR WARS.

oh yea the battle of hoth is where the empire found the secret base of the rebellion on an ice covered planet called hoth, the empire attacks but the rebellion but luke skywalker gets lost in the snow and with the help of han solo he returns blah blah blah
