Just because there is a space in a folder's name, I have to redo one hour of installation and configuration work, since the programs don't support folder names with spaces in (well, not properly).

Goddamn, that's bullshit.

Yeah, but you then also must rename all the paths in the program he uses, I think that's what he ment. Wink

I did that. But it didn't work. The programs I use don't support "bla bla bla" in their command line options.

Wut, that can't be. A argument between "" will get passed to C++ as one argument.
I believe also in every other programming language,
since the arguments are passed to them by CMD, which will treat "omg space" as óne argument.

Or amiwrong?

I would expect the same, but got surprising results yesterday. Instead of taking the folder's name "part1 part2" the program tried to look in directory part1, and gave errors he couldn't find part1. I was very careful to place "" everywhere, however I may have made a mistake somewhere.
