Computer problem Empty Computer problem

Post by Ross Mon Oct 18, 2010 4:41 pm

My computer has been turning itself off a lot lately, and then it takes FOREVER to turn back on. It doesnt happen as oftenif i just have a screensaver up or im using something like microsoft word, but it still does sometimes, but if i do something like install something or watch a video on youtube or something it happens a lot. does anyone know what the problem is? it was running slow for a while before this started so i was about to reformat it but now that this is happening im not sure if that would fix it and im thinking its a more serious problem. anyone have any idea what could be wrong with it?

Might be overheating, but... Is it a laptop? have you cleaned it?

I was thinking about heat problems too. I used to have it a lot.
Just open it up and place a fan next to it.

I use the Vacuum Cleaner any time to Clean up the Fan behind on my PC.
Latops are always getting way to hot. Couse the Cooler Sytem don't hasn't the space enough to put the warm air Outside. Especially if u watch special movies (..) Cool
