Nah, just turn the graphics down to console levels and you should do fine.

Even my shitty comp is capable of running it at Topped settings on 1680x1050 with 30 fps, I know its low, but his computer is FAR more powerful then mine.

Well, Far Cry 2 doesn't give the slightest hitch at highest settings here.

Farcry 2 = Boooooooring as hell. The concept was sweet, the story was cool and all, but it was just so slow.....drive across the Island to kill people here, drive across the Island to kill people there...over and over. Plus, I can't stand the Crytek games where it takes 4000 shots to kill people.

Although I couldn't take anymore of Farcry2 after 54%, I simply had enough of it.

I'm gonna make a playthrough with commentary off of it, but my slight experiences with the game (the tut) are good.

I liked far cry 2, yeah everything was sweet like you said.
But sometimes the AI was a little unresponsive, and the physics was comical, but I enjoyed the huge 30km treks. It's fun to take the game slowly and just explore the map, enjoy the scenery tbh. Although I didn't like how quickly guards respawned at guard posts etc; you could clear one out and drive off, come back 2 minutes later and the place will be back to happy days. Heart wrenching having to kill all your buddies at the end though : x
