Science only makes up new more deadly ways to destroy humanity. People will destroy the planet theirself, no religion nor science can prevent that.

You seem a bit narrow viewed on science mate. Science it self is not all weapons research.

Everything you have is developed through a level of science, tiny or huge.

I'm not saying science blows, I couldn't survive without many of its inventions. I'm just saying that many deadly stuff have been created using science and even more deadly will come.

And I'm sure, of course I'm not here to see it, that people destroy each other using scientifical inventions.

I'm not sure if humanity can save itself from destruction, but it would be very plausible that we may. Science is evolving in an increasingly rapid rate, and who knows what technologies the future may hold? Humans have been fighting against destruction ever since they existed. We were pitiful animals compared to lions and bears and stuff, no venom, no claws, ... We only had our brain. And we overcame many difficulties on our ca. 3 million year long ride.

Remember the Plague in the Mediaeval times? It was a destructible force, and European people were on the brink of death. But luckily, science came just in time to our aid. The same happened with 'pokken' (forgot the English word).

And pollution will probably be our next big obstacle. And maybe science will help us out again.

it's not science that makes bombs; it's humans that do.
One guy tries to kill an other, the other protects himself, forcing the first to make his weapon better to get through the protection, etc.
Thanks to that stuborn idiocity, we have evolved.
Personnaly I think all that violence was needed to get further in evolution. And not only weapon evolution, since it is all conected. People get smarter by enhancing their defense, or their weapons. That could be why we have civilitations and animals don't.
Still sucks. And I 'm not pro violence

Atomic power is a very fantastic energy resource. If we manage to get rid of the radioactive side-results, it would solve most of our problems.

Indeed...we would....but untill we can't...just think what we do with the Uranium we throw it in the ocean's sea's...if something awfull happens....you can't run from the catastroph....it sucks!
